Polygraph Testing

Polygraph tests can be said to be “neutralized” by a subject or subjects through drugs or pain.  Its similar in a manner to an insurance agency that insists that an auto immobilizer can never be beaten.  Human nature being what it is – if a person is determined and especially if there is money or the fear of incarceration involved – its always open and a matter to time,  effort and sometimes money.  Usually though a subjects  responses will be “noticeable”  and”noticeably high” and as well termed “flat”.

In the case of the Zodiac Allen had reportedly stockpiled his daily medications of Valium tranquillizers and pilfered Thorazine , a medication prescribed for extreme paranoia , from the dispensary where he had conveniently worked.  “Thorazine was for the really psychotic patients”.  it was said by experts in this case.  “It would not be a common and everyday drug that they handed out.   “  But then again he would have access to the dispensary – perhaps even ready access during coffee time periods , break times and lunch time.    Then again he was being given Valium itself and all he would of had to do simply in essence was to save it up and stockpile it-  perhaps all magnified by higher time periods of anxiety to which greater doses of the drug would simply be prescribed.

Jack the “Ripper”

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008

The name and term “Jack the Ripper” is a label which is often referred to in vicious murder crimes. It serves as a model or role model of downright evil – almost referring to a person as “Hitler”. The term “jack the ripper” refers to an alias given to an unidentified serial killer active in the largely impoverished Whitechapel area and adjacent districts of London, England in the autumn of 1888. In a taste and example of later descriptive terms in murderers and murder scenes the name itself is taken from a letter sent to the Central News Agency by someone claiming to be the murderer. Shades of the Zodiac killer of the bay area of San Francisco and other future madmen.

The victims were women said at the time to be “sex trade workers”. Earning income as prostitutes. Amazingly murders were perpetrated in open public or semi-public places during the nighttime periods or towards the early morning time periods. The victim’s throat was then cut, after which the bodies were severely mutilated. Theories suggest the victims were first strangled in order to silence them, which also explained the reported lack of blood at the crime scenes. The removal of internal organs from three of the victims led some officials at the time of the murders to propose that the killer possessed anatomical or surgical knowledge or was just a downright pathological killer who enjoyed not only the notoriety but also the whole sordid process.

Among those suspected at the time and later of being the killer were

  • Kosminski, a poor Polish Jew resident in Whitechapel;

  • Montague John Druitt, a 31 year old barrister and school teacher who committed suicide in December 1888;

  • Michael Ostrog, a Russian-born multi-pseudonymous thief and confidence trickster, believed to be 55 years old in 1888, and detained in asylums on several occasions;

  • Dr Francis J. Tumblety, 56 Years old, an American ‘quack’ doctor, who was arrested in November 1888 for offences of gross indecency, and fled the country later the same month, having obtained bail at a very high price.

Newspapers, whose circulation had been growing during this era, bestowed widespread and enduring notoriety on the killer owing to the savagery of the attacks and the failure of the police in their attempts to capture the murderer, sometimes missing him at the crime scenes by mere minutes. Many theories have emerged as to actual identity of the killer or even killers. Some have even postulated that the “Jack the Ripper” killer and murderer was a member of the Royal Family of Britain. The authorities it seemed knew who it was but were unwilling in the class conscious society of Britain at the time to progress with the investigation and investigations towards locating and identifying the killer or killers.

As it stands, Lee’s portrait , unique among all the other biographies that have appeared so far in its emphasis on Wharton the European eaile. Wharton not only allowed Italy, France and to a much lesser extent England m but from before the start of the First World War until her death in 1937 , she made her permanent home in France. Typically at each point there were two homes – one for the winter , one for the summer. One in the city and an opulent home in the country for writing and authorship author effect. There , Wharton wrote the majority of her prolific novels, short stories , travelogues and plays.

Wharton experienced her only romantic and exceptionally adulterous romantic relationships through her incapacitating relationships , mental illness and mental illnesses of her husband Tedward and their eventual painful divorce, and worked tirelessly for the French side during the First World War time periods. The chapters “Fighting France” chronicled Wharton’s exemplary wartime activities which consisted primarily of helping to raise enormous amounts of much needed money for orphanages.
